To help parents prepare their children for hospitalization and surgery, a preadmission tour is offered. Led by a Child Life therapist and a nurse, the tour is designed to familiarize children and their parents with relevant hospital areas and members of the hospital staff. Time is provided for asking questions or expressing concerns about the hospitalization.
