Philadelphia – July 10, 2008 – St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children announced today that it has signed a multi-year agreement with MultiPlan, Inc. that includes participation in the PHCS (formerly Private Healthcare Systems) network. The new agreement, which includes the hospital and its outpatient services, began July 1.  Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children provides a wide range of pediatric medical and surgical specialties through its affiliation with Drexel University College of Medicine. With a medical staff of more than 270 pediatric specialists, the hospital is a Regional Level I Pediatric Trauma Center offering programs such as kidney and liver transplantation, minimally invasive surgery and open heart surgery.
